Mr. Mazen Al-Tarazi is recognized as one of the leading self-made businessmen in the gulf region. Through strategic investments, visionary leadership, and expertise, he was able to expand and diversify his business activities across four continents. He has founded multiple companies specializing in a variety of industries, including oil field development services, advertising, publishing, distribution, commerce, construction, and general trade.
I do not hide that, during my continuous expatriation for more than thirty years, I established a good investment structure in several economic fields between the Gulf states and some European countries. I direct the investment compass towards contribute to the business, industrial and service projects that the widest segment of society benefits from it.
He went on to establish the Marketing Group Company, which became one of the largest and most reputable written media and advertising companies in the region. His futuristic vision, ability to identify growing markets, as well as his risk management planning, allowed his businesses to expand into many Arabic Gulf countries, Europe (UK, Spain), Canada, and Western Africa. A Canadian Syrian national, born in 1962, Mr. Al-Tarazi moved with his family to Kuwait at the age of three. He obtained an MBA and began his career in the paper trade in the 1990’s.

In addition to his remarkable business achievements, Mr. Al-Tarazi is well known for his philanthropic activities and charitable work that focuses on social and economic empowerments. He has bankrolled humanitarian initiatives and funded scholarships which have benefited thousands of individuals. Mr. Al-Tarazi is married and a proud father of four children: Khaled (PhD in Law), Ali (B.S Civil Engineering), Dana (M.S Design and Production), and Bashar (Grade 12). He currently spends his time between Kuwait, UAE, and Oman.
